National Day

Went to see the fireworks display @ Marina Bay this morning at 12 am. Ok, yesterday cos we reached there at about 9 pm. It muz have been rainin cats and dogs in the aftnn cos the whole place was muddy, VERY muddy. Dear was wearin the typical lady's slippers and it was a disaster. Mud all over her feet. My shoes kena also.. and it was smeelly! Smeeeeely! haha..

Seriously, some of the stars they invited to perform there really totally sucked. Ok, F.I.R was great.

but 183 club? cmon.. they could do better.. Kelly or Junyang would do nicely, much nicer den 183 club? lets form a 170 club, anyone? SOrry CHung hang, u cant.

The fireworks were great.
But u cant help wondering how much money went into it.
Lets juz estimate the per minute cost of it, say $10,000/min of fireworks.
There were 15 mins of fireworks juz on tt day alone. = $150,000
There were toal of 4 days of fireworks, = $600,000

expensive! Yeah, u and i arent paying tax but papa mama payin wor.. juz felt tt money was being blown away in the sky.

But well, the fireworks were great la. damn great.

Great view! i love it.. but it was juz abit wee too long a show and made it not so 'valuable' liao..haha.. grumpy me.

Oh, and i was lucky. Was walkin to Simei MRT juz now to take train to come back NTU and the whole vehicle convoy went past me.. all the soldiers waving.. haha.. and makin lots of noise. Ok, the vehicles no longer command a wow word from me anymore after NS but still, it was a sight to behold. I'm a NSmen! :>
